This quilt has been selected for the European Quilt Association Exhibition entitled Seasonal Garden. The English entries had to be based on a Summer garden and this quilt was inspired by an Italian garden seen on holiday in July.

This quilt has been selected to be displayed in the Silvery Threads exhibition organised by the Costume and Textiles Association that is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The work was inspired by the early morning sun shining on the sea off the Pembrokeshire Coast.
